They are available in both vertically and horizontally mounted enclosures with options of meters, circuit breakers and fuses.

Shuttered sockets have the safety advantage that when no plug is connected, nothing can be inserted into either phase connection. It also makes the plug less likely to vibrate out (though we recommend clips for critical applications)

Most of our competitors do not use shuttered C13 sockets

Olson Electronics uses C13 10A shuttered sockets on all of its C13 PDU (with the only exceptions being our PDU using "C13 quadblocks" products 6A/16/RF and 3250/nn) 

With the IEC 60320 C19 style socket gaining in popularity, there is now a real choice in IEC connectors for power distribution units.

They are commonly confused, so do make sure you get the one you want!
